Description
We are a certified organic, biodynamic farm, growing organic fruits and vegetables since 1991. We deliver weekly CSA boxes to many locations in Portland, Eugene, Springfield, Bend, Florence, Reedsport, and Coos Bay/North Bend, and the Fern Ridge area from June to November. A weekly newsletter keeps members informed about the farm and supplies recipes for vegetables included in the weekly share. Annual farm events give members opportunities to visit and experience the farm. We offer field trips to schools and community organizations, and work closely with local food banks. We offer Financial Assistance to subsidize shares - please contact the farm to apply for or donate to, the program.
Winter Green Farm also grows organic basil and creates a finished Pesto and a basil base in our certified on farm processing kitchen. We offer these frozen products wholesale through several local distributors. We have a beef herd for our fertilization and offer seasonal organic grass fed beef to the community in limited amounts each Fall.
